This workshop will provide an introduction to breath, alignment and movement - the foundation of a safe, accessible and sustainable yoga practice. Yoga postures will be reviewed to address individual needs and concerns with modifications provided as needed. Develop the foundational skill and knowledge to move with greater ease in your body and mind both on and off the yoga mat.
Michael Simpson is a 500-hour registered yoga teacher with 10 years of teaching experience. She has studied and practiced various styles of yoga over the past 15 years and recently completed 150 hours of therapeutic yoga training. Michael's goal in teaching is to make yoga a safe, accessible and sustainable practice to all of her students in order that they can enjoy a lifetime of practice.
